How to default a goal to a user.
Defaulting a goal to a user will allow that goal to automatically appear on reports that are run for that user.
Make Your Goal

- Go to the "Other" tab.
- Select "Goals".
- From the goals page select the "+ New" button.
- A Pop-up will appear where you can create your goal. Fill out the following fields.
- Goal Name: Give your goal a unique name.
- Number of Units: Give a numerical value that shows the number of units expected to be sold for this goal.
- Finance: The Finance row is for the deals you expect to be financed within your goal.
- Lease: The Lease row is for the deals you expect to be financed within your goal.
- The remaining rows will vary depending on the product types available in your account. (See further details on your Settings> Products page.)
- Guaranteed Asset Protection: Gap penetration is calculated based on the number of finance deals.
- All other product types are calculated on the total number of units listed in b.
- Penetration%: The percentage of units you expect to fall into the rows category for the goal.
- $ Per: The profit per unit you expect to make.
- Count: Your total number of Units (See b. above) split by the percentage you entered in the Percentage % (See f. above.) equals your count. The count can be rounded up or down using the arrows found immediately to the right.
- PVR (top right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your PVR if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for that row category.
- Total (top right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your total income if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for that row category.
- PVR (bottom right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your PVR if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for all completed categories.
- Total (bottom right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your total income if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for all completed categories.
- Click Save (or Save + New if you plan to make more goals.)
- Your goal will appear in a list on the goals page.
Assign Goal to User
- Go to the Employees page by selecting Settings > Employees.
- Locate the employee entry you are looking to edit. Open the employee entry using the blue pencil button.
- Use the Default Goal drop-down to select from the goals set up in your account.
- Once you have set the goal you want to default for the user, select "Save & Close".
View Goal in Reports

- Go to the Metrics page.
- Open the Pogress report. When accessing the account as the user, the goal will automatically be set.
