Other: Goals

How to create goals for dealership employees.

Making goals for your dealership team can be a powerful asset. Help your team visualize their selling potential! These goals can also be used within your Progress Reports to help the business managers stay on track!

 

Make your Goal


  1. Go to the "Other" tab.
  2. Select "Goals".
  3. From the goals page select the "+ New" button.
  4.  A Pop-up will appear where you can create your goal. Fill out the following fields.  
    1. Goal Name: Give your goal a unique name. 
    2. Number of Units: Give a numerical value that shows the number of units expected to be sold for this goal. 
    3. Finance: The Finance row is for the deals you expect to be financed within your goal.
    4. Lease: The Lease row is for the deals you expect to be financed within your goal.
    5. The remaining rows will vary depending on the product types available in your account. (See further details on your Settings> Products page.)
      1. Guaranteed Asset Protection: Gap penetration is calculated based on the number of finance deals. 
      2. All other product types are calculated on the total number of units listed in b.
    6. Penetration%: The percentage of units you expect to fall into the rows category for the goal. 
    7. $ Per: The profit per unit you expect to make. 
    8. Count: Your total number of Units (See b. above) split by the percentage you entered in the Percentage % (See f. above.)  equals your count. The count can be rounded up or down using the arrows found immediately to the right.  
    9. PVR (top right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your PVR if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for that row category.
    10. Total (top right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your total income if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for that row category.
    11. PVR (bottom right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your PVR if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for all completed categories.
    12. Total (bottom right): A dollar amount projection will be given for your total income if you meet the goal data you have entered in the other fields listed above for all completed categories.
  5. Click Save (or Save + New if you plan to make more goals.)
  6. Your goal will appear in a list on the goals page.
