NADA Price Deviation is another compliance tool in your Business Manager's pocket!
Compliance with price deviation protocols is important to protect your business managers and dealership. MenuMetric has provided a place to track your price deviations in alignment with the NADA guidelines. The new functionality also includes a new report so that you may easily pull your dealership's data. See the information below to learn how to access and use the NADA Price Deviation tracking.
How to add the NADA Price Deviation Tracking to your MenuMetric Account.
1. Start by going to your Settings > Dealer Tab.
2. Within your Settings > Dealer Tab, go to Sale Defaults.
3. Scroll to the bottom of your page and find the "Show NADA Price Deviation" field.
- To activate this functionality check the check-box and select Save.
- To de-activate this functionality uncheck the check-bock and select Save.
Viewing the NADA Price Deviation tracking within a Deal.
1. Process your deal as you typically would until you reach your Logging page. (For further instruction on processing your deal check out this article. Click Here.)
2. On your Logging page under your Product List you will see your Price Deviation fields. (If you do not see them, reference the section above to activate this functionality in your account.)
3. Use the drop-down to select your Price Deviation reasons.
- N/A: There is no price deviation and therefore no reason needed.
- Pricing or Payment CAP: There is a regulation capping the pricing of the product or payment.
- Monthly Payment Constraint: The customer is facing a Monthly Payment Constraint and needs to lower the product price to purchase the product.
- More Competitive Offer: The customer has been offered a lower price than your standard pricing by a competitor.
- Promotional Pricing: The dealership is running a special sale or promotional campaign.
- Employee Pricing: A dealership employee discount is being applied.
NOTE: The list found in the dropdown is the official NADA compliance reasons for deviation.
4. Be sure to Save your changes and Log Sale using the buttons found at the bottom right of your screen to track your deal information within your MenuMetric reports.
5. The Price Deviations will appear within your Sale Recap Report.
View your Price Deviation within Metrics Reports.
1. Go to your Metrics tab.
2. On your Report List go to the Price Deviation report.
3. From here you may set your filters and Run Report.
NOTE: Only Logged sales will appear in your reports.
